Gromedics G-Series Ballasts are designed for optimal lamp compatibility and will work with lamps manufactured according to current American standards.The G-Series are volt specific ballasts and must be operated at the correct input voltage of 120V or 240V. Other digital ballasts may also operate on these voltages, but do not offer the efficiency and consistent output of a dedicated voltage ballast like the Gromedics G-Series.Gromedics G-Series ballasts produce a very low amount of electro-magnetic interference (EMI), the least of any electronic ballast on the market. G-Series Ballasts are now internally RF shielded. They can be used with a standard lamp cord or cord set.An external breaker system protects the new G-Series Ballast from surges. The circuit may be reset by pressing the breaker reset button located on the input side of the ballast. All G-Series 240V models have detachable power cords; the 120V models come with an attached power cord.
